Journey21 Enrichment Center Dedication and Ribbon-Cutting Celebration
Oconomowoc, WI - Journey21 celebrated another milestone on Wednesday, April 19th, when over 200 people gathered in the newly constructed Enrichment Center to officially open and dedicate the new space. Parents, volunteers, and program participants joined together to celebrate with the two founding families, dozens of donors and friends, and representatives from the companies who designed and built the 10,000 square foot building. The Enrichment Center is home to the Journey21 programs and outings, as well as to the three new educational academies which begin this summer.
The program included remarks from Journey21 team members Heidi Hamilton, as well as from parent Carol Hoffman. The highlight of the evening was our featured speaker, Cody Karcher, a member of the Journey21 community since the very beginning. A building blessing was offered by Pastor Andrew Johnston from Elmbrook Church and the actual cutting of a red ribbon capped off the evening.
