The Journey at Pabst Farms
Journey21 is planning to build and manage a for-sale residential community for adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities (IDD) in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. Our community will be a safe and inclusive neighborhood of one- and two-bedroom condominiums and amenities designed for the needs and aspirations of approximately 40-50 adults with IDD. All of our condos will be for-sale properties at market-rate prices.
We own a 12-acre parcel at the southeast corner of Old School House Road and Hackney Way in Pabst Farms in Oconomowoc that meets our requirements. Initial site improvement, including storm sewer, roads, and walking paths have already been completed. Our goal is to open the residences in the next 3-5 years.

The Journey21 community also includes a 10,000 square foot Enrichment Center which officially opened in April 2023.
Who Can Be a Resident?
Residents will be adults ages 21 and older who have a diagnosed intellectual or developmental disability. Journey21 and families will work together to assess the adult with IDD to ensure supports are in place to maximize their independence. We expect a range of abilities, support needs, and mobilities of our residents.
