Social experiences that build connection, confidence, and community
The CORE Program offers inclusive community-based outings and recreational experiences for adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities (IDD).
Participants build friendships, develop life and social skills, and experience the joy of being active and engaged in their community.
Shared interests. Lasting friendships.
CORE brings together individuals (from Oconomowoc and the surrounding eight-county region) through two- to three-hour experiences to explore, learn, and have fun – one outing at a time!
Sample offerings include:
- Art & Creativity: Painting, crafting, seasonal projects, and more
- Cooking & Baking: Hands-on food prep, simple recipes, and kitchen safety
- Games & Social Nights: Bingo, trivia, movie nights, and tabletop games
- Fitness & Movement: Dance, yoga, walking groups, and light workouts
- Special Events: Themed socials, holiday celebrations, and talent shows
