Journey21’s Summer Academy is a three-week program designed for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities ages 15 and older. It blends life skills, creative learning, and community outings in a welcoming environment where every participant is encouraged to grow, connect, and enjoy the season.
What Our Program Offers
Each session combines structured learning with hands-on fun. Participants explore:
- Social skills and self-advocacy
- Independent living tasks like cooking and daily routines
- Group recreation, art, and movement
- Community outings to places like Camp Whitcomb, the zoo, Summerfest, and more
From morning activities to field trips and shared meals, every day brings a new opportunity to build confidence and friendships.
