Zachariah’s Acres - A Slice of Heaven

On July 11th we started our Summer Programs and Outings enjoying the beauty of nature at Zachariah's Acres in Oconomowoc. This beautiful campus has 48 acres surrounded by rolling hills, scenic ponds, thousands of evergreens, and acres of wildflowers.

Our day started with a scenic hayride enjoying the smells and sights of nature! Then we caught fish and released them down the fun fish slide watching them return to the pond. We learned how to harvest potatoes and garlic and spent time harvesting the garden. Lastly, we displayed our artistic abilities in their amazing tree house where we created our own art masterpiece. We had a wonderful time and we can’t wait to be back in September!
